We have been to the King Charles Hotel many times in the last few years either to photograph weddings or provide chocolate fountains for weddings and functions. Inside the hotel has been recently completely redecorated to a very high standard. All rooms inside are very warm and friendly which is also how the staff are as well. The hotel is family run which always helps with a wedding venue. Debbie and Fiona who deal with the weddings are very friendly and very flexible. They will even let you throw confetti indoors as the bride and groom walk back down the aisle.
You can also get married outdoors in the courtyard now as they have an outside licence. The courtyard has a pagoda for you to wed under. (By law you have to say part of your vows under a roof) Its very pretty out there with decking and water features. There is also their garden with a pond which is very pretty and features in the pictures below.
