I have been into photography for over 20 years. I started on manual SLR cameras (a Praktica MTL3) which saw extensive use capturing images of many rivers, streams, boats and landscapes. After a good few years I moved on to a Minolta Dynax 600si and moved on to wildlife and people. All this time I was working for Natwest, then Eurostar, ASDA and finally Argos. At various times friends and family asked me to photograph weddings and produce family portraits, so I thought why work for Argos which provides me with little time to pick up a camera when I can work as a photographer? I could not think of a good reason (apart from what if I get no work) so I left retail and went it alone. So now I photograph weddings at weekends (and some weekdays) family portraits during weekdays and quiet weekends and baby competitions when I can. I also recently worked on the Trisha Goddard show which was filmed at Maidstone Studios as a backstage cameraman two days of the week.

Hi, I have been assisiting Julian with his wedding photography for the last three years. I have two children who are both at full time school. I have now expanded into the Chocolate Fountain hire business as a joint venture with my brother, which has fulfilled some of my dreams of having my own business. I enjoy providing a service to people knowing that it will help make their party/celebration extra special. It certainly beats my pre children job in the city.
